today is day 8 for me. my 1st day weighed 210#'s this morning weighed in 197#. I always use to drink soda,fruitjuices-icetea, now it's nothing but h2o. i drink 4 liter bottles a day and my skin is great. i do the 5&1 plan-love having my salad. I was thinking the day i have a bar(they fill me up)don't have a salad? everyone in the forum is awesome

What a great way to start !! Stay focused on your goals and while it's unlikely that you'll repeat your first week initial loss, the loss will be near continuous.
Jaime...first, congrats on the weight loss. it doesn't appear that anyone addressed your question so here goes...Salads and bars are not necessarily interchangeable. If you are doing a full fast for 1 day, then just don't have your L&G. I personally have a bar every day but others limit their bars to one a week or less. Like someone said, you will not recognize a huge weighloss like your first week but it will steadily keep coming off. Heres what I suggest, go another week without the bars and see what weightloss your second week will produce. Then for week three, add a bar as one of your meal replacements (still have your L&G) and see what you lose that week! Different things work for different people. test it and see what works for you!!
