1st day

I have been reading the forum for almost 2 weeks now. Everyone here is so awesome! You all helped give me that extra "push" to order and go for it. There is so much motivation and inspiration here!

Today is my first day and so far so good. I have a LONG way to go. But knowing I can come in and read and laugh and cry and learn and be inspired all at the same time will make the trip much more enjoyable.

You will not believe how FAST the time passes. Seems like just last week, I was a newbie... it's been 8 weeks and 33 pounds of flabbage is gone. I never dreamed I would get this far, but, reading on here several times a day gives me the boost I need to get through til time for the next shake.... it really hasn't been all that hard. Good luck and welcome aboard!

I'm having soup now - before I start cooking for the family. The plan is if I'm full I won't want to taste! I have found that I've been hungry more in the third hour not the fourth but I've stuck with it and the day is almost over.
I really appreciate the support.

Very good plan. I do the same thing. I munch on a pickle or have some soup or water so I don't stare as they start to scarf down the food that only a week ago, I would have been eating too!! :)

It's the little "tricks" that get you through those hard moments!! Way to go!! Good luck on the rest of your journey!! Happy Shakin'!! :wave:
