176 Sticks of Butter!!!!

Postby Signladytf » April 4th, 2006, 1:17 am

It's those little things that keep pushing me forward with Medifast.

I have melted away 176 sticks of butter so far.... (see what kind of trouble I can get into when I have insomnia?)

Actually, if I had the space, I'd buy all that butter then donate it to a shelter or something. But, I don't, so I'll figure it out..maybe turkeys instead. :)

I'm hoping to go back to bed and get up a thinner woman! I love how the melting process happens most often during the night...you go to bed thinking you're one weight, then get up lighter! Tee hee! If I wind up a little heavier one morning (due to water retention, or any other physical reason), I go into complete denial and don't write down the weight. If it is because I'm "bad," I will write it down as a reminder that "whatever passes the lips winds up on the hips." I'd prefer that Medifast wind up on my hips, because it just rolls right off!

Keep shaking!!!

That is a great idea I try to get a 5 pound bag of sugar or flour and hold it after I have lost 5 pounds to get a good idea of actually how much I have lost.

Hi

I love the butter equation.

I also do the sugar thing. I currently have Five 5lb sugars stacked up in a corner. I'm buying my 6th soon. I put them in a bag and carry them around when I'm tempted to cheat. I love physical manifestations of what I've lost.

I also love the get skinny by sleeping part of the plan! It's my favorite

Great job!

Hey, that's a great idea! I know for me I have around 30 pounds to lose, so that's about the weight of my 2 year old. I can only carry her around for a short while without getting sore and winded. When I think about something off plan in my mouth, I can just go and pick her up and carry her around for a while....talk about keeping me focused! :clapclap:

I really like the idea of donating an amount of food that is equivalent to what I've lost! What a fantastic idea. It's humbling to remember that as hard as I am trying to avoid eating too much food, there are others out there who would love to have enough food to eat.
