Business EventsWe welcome you to the business side of our MakeMeThinner blog. It is one of the primary reason why Nancy and I live the life we currently enjoy. It is the business element that has enabled us to transform our financial circumstances just as the Take Shape For Life program empowered us to reclaim our physical health. Nancy safely lost 135 lbs in seven months and I lost 60 lbs in 4 months. This has added quality and longevity to our lives. Becoming a Take Shape For Life Health Coach has permitted us to enjoy travels and adventures (chronicled in this blog) throughout the United States as well as fully enjoy our two grandsons. All this at a time when most Americans are struggling just to make ends meet and pay their bills. These freedoms are possible because we attended our first Take Shape For Life business event, the first annual TSFL National Convention in Orlando, FL, in 2003. Our business genesis in 2003 can be attributed to Nancy and I making a decision; a decision and choice to change our lives by attending a business event. You can make that choice as well! Primary in changing your life is finding a vehicle that helps you accomplish your life goal. For Nancy and I, that vehicle was building a Take Shape For Life business by helping thousands get healthy. The goal of the business side of our MakeMeThinner blog is to chronicle our journey in that life change. You may see your circumstances mirrored to ours when we started our transformational journey in July of 2002. Know that YOU, too, can change your current circumstances by making that choice and applying it with the right vehicle. Next Saturday our Health Coach Training kicks off at Mt Hood Community College. This training will be springboarding off our Go Global event. Health Coaches from around the United States (over 500) will be arriving over the next few days at The Omni Orlando Resort at Championsgate in Orlando, Florida. Go Global is a comprehensive Executive Director Leadership event designed to equip the Take Shape [...] Take Shape For Life is growing at an exponential rate throughout the United States, particularly here in the The NW Global Network was launched yesterday with a planning meeting attended by the Take Shape For Life Global and Presidential Directors in the Portland/Vancouver area. We’ve determine with the exponential growth occurring in our area that is was time to set a strategy for training all the new Health Coaches coming on board to [...] The Initial NW Global Network Meeting is now history. It has been a privilege for Nancy and I to be part of each evolutionary step that Take Shape For Life has gone through since its inception in January, 2003. We are now experiencing exponential growth with the monthly addition of new Health Coaches seeking to join Dr [...] Health Coach Training – 04-10 Iowa Visit – 07-09 Heading home after eight days in Iowa. We decided to return by way of Wisconsin to Minneapolis. We crossed from Iowa to Wisconsin at Lansing, Iowa. We drove north to La Crosse where we crossed into Minnesota and drove on Interstate 90 and connected to Interstate 52 at Rochester, then up to Minneapolis. |
