Last time I was in the funny farm my psychiatrist told me my self-deprecating humor was approproprate in a comedian but not in a person who was trying to get well and have higher self-esteem. I am still guilty of using it. But reality check time. Since we are about the same weight I doubt your hiney would take up two seats. I have seen your picture, in fact looked at it off and on for two hours for one of my projects, and you look smaller than I do. Just some thoughts from your favorite board member...

but, i went to get a haircut instead. when i walked in the door, the hostess (yeah, i go to that kind of place) shrieked, "oh, my god! you look so good." then cesar, my hair guy, admitted that he didn't come over right away because he didn't recognize me. he's pretty funny. half way through my cut, he said, "this is going to sound really weird, but you've even lost weight through here...," indicating my scalp and the back of my neck.

i have new growth (which i'm grateful for after all the hairloss), and we spent about 10 minutes laughing and trying to get the baby hairs on the top of my head to lay down. it's just not gonna happen. but! i'm a fat/curvy girl with flyaways-- not an obese girl with bad hair.

That must have made you feel good that they couldnt stop complimenting how great you look. I will love the day that someone fusses about how great I look.I mean we really do deserve it sometimes.I think we work hard to get where we are...and you definitly have!!! I can't wait to be down 90lbs...I dont know about you but I love having curves...just not bumps...LOL

for whatever reason, my weight is really fluctuating. it's kind of bumming me out. i guess it will ultimately settle down again, but since my losses are so slow, it makes me nuts to see any movement upwards. i think i need to grab a cheap stop watch and start tking it on my hikes. i never wear a watch; usually, i just do my thing and stop when i'm tired. today, i got back to my car and realized i had been hiking up hills for 85 minutes. that's gotta be way too long considering how many calories i take in. so... yeah. maybe if i tone down my activity, i'll lose more consistently.
