Well here i am once again. I've been gone for quite awhile now, was dealing with some things in my life and just went AWOL somehow, but you all never left my mind. So i decided to come over to say hi and "thank you" to my old medifriends who kept me in mind, and introduce myself to the newbies! I'm Chynna and i'm a maintainer. It's going pretty good and i'm still interspersing the Medifast RTD shakes with my meal plan which is the WW Points Plan...it's FUN! I've dilliy/dallied a little with my goal weight but have pretty much maintained it...occasionally we fall down but we get up!

My daughter Errin was home for Thanksgiving which was a huge blessing. She seems to be doing much better now. They have her on a new MS medication which seems to to working fine for her right now at least..not so many relapses thank God, but just like my Fibromyalgia, MS flareups can be very unpredictable.

WOW, all the newbies that have come aboard in my absence have such impressive and fun names!!...i'm just LOVIN'IT:+))))) (Rodeomom, Lifelovinaries, OutWithTheOld) just to name a few, and after reading a few entries i was ROTFLMAO...you guys are tooooo funny!...and you're doing so WONDERFUL too!!...and i see we also have a model and an actress in the making:+)..how kool is that!

So i guess this will be all for now...i hope to be stopping by more often!

And since you have been appointed as my personal angel, I'll expect you to be with me tomorrow for my second eye cataract surgery.

Hi chynna, just wanted to pop in and say hello. Glad to see that you are still hanging in there. I hope that your daughter's meds continue to work for her. I have a friend with MS who chooses to deal with hers holistically. It seems to work for her so far (she was diagnosed about 6 or 7 years ago). My aunt (actually my mother's best friend) also has MS (diagnosed well over 10 years ago) she is treated with traditional meds. I've experienced firsthand how this disease affects the person with it as well as their loved ones. So my prayers are with your daughter and your family for minimal relapses and a healthy future. Jeez, now that i think of it, there is so much going around in my immediate circle; fibro, ms, drug addiction, depression, obesity, hypertension...this forum has allowed me to put soooo many things into perspective ~ the issues of others as well as my own issues. Lots of times we don't realize everything that is going on around us (or we choose not to reconize it) until it is brought to light by the situations of others. God bless you and your family. You guys are the BEST! Thanks for all the kind words and prayers...i really really do appreciate them:+)

Erica, yeah that is so true...people deal with alot of things right around us sometimes...this forum DOES afford us to not only get support with our weight loss journey, but with other physical as well as emotionals things we deal with too...what a blessing...and i've really been seriously considering the holistic approach too with regards my Fibro..thanks for mentioning that.

I'm not around here that much either ... I got some coals in the fire as you know. But it's always nice when a friend shows up to brighten the day (or night ... as it happens to be almost midnight :lol:

).
