Thanks Queenie!

I had a good day yesterday and stayed on plan.

Worked on the computer a lot yesterday; I have discovered digital scrapbooking and love it. My daughter requested that I do both and that I should get busy on my grandaughter's 2nd year album. Guess I'll work on that today.

Hope everyone has a blessed day!

Hi Donna,

I have a girlfriend who is into scrapbooking and she loves doing the digital stuff online. I've not ever gotten into SB stuff and don't need another place to spend money nor a new hobby (yikes!) but it does sound interesting (No it is NOT, do not look into Digital scrapbooking...do not get an new hobby!!!! LOL).

Now that I have a new camera I was thinking about scrapbooking. Right now I am getting the hang of knitting with needles in addition to the loom knitting I already do. Let's see, then there is my jewelry making and gardening, and peole ask "aren't you bored not working"?

Doing well on Medifast and trying to get back to where I was before I fell off the Medifast wagon. I went to the library and checked out some James Patterson books to keep me busy and my mind occupied.

I ordered a CD, "Relax Your Way to Thin! Hypnosis Weight Loss Motivation" by Beverly Hills. I never have listened to a hypnosis tape but I have seen people being hypnotized on a cruise once; it was pretty funny. I ordered it off of amazon and the reviews were really good on it. Oh yea, I also ordered me a pedometer that I want to start using. My plan is to start walking this week at the track. Wish me luck!

Thanks for the compliments on the new avatar. Face looks sort of shiny but I'm getting new makeup soon. I'm still really bruised from my surgery and haven't left the house much but hopefully by the end of next week I will be bruise-free.

I haven't scrapbooked my developed pictures yet but I have been doing the digital stuff. I think when I run out of paper, and everything else, I may take up digital scrapbooking permanently. I actually believe that it would be cheaper than the old fashion paper way but haven't really decided yet for sure.

Mickey, I would really like to do the jewlrey making and have often thought about checking it out but haven't done it yet. I spend so much on my scrapbooking right now that I hesitate to do anything else.

Going to sleep now. Night night!

Morning Donna,
glad you are back on program, you can do this !!

I have a passel of jewels to make stuff with, just need a bit of assistance with clasps ect. I might take a class when the weather changes.
I love all the choices of jewels and strings there are!

Have a great day Donna :D

End of week 13, lost 3.0 lbs. (1.5 lbs. of it was my gain from last week)

Not feeling well today, I have a cold that is driving me crazy. My granddaughter is here and she is sick too so I guess the walking at the track is put off again.

I really wish I lived closer into town so I could take lessons on different things at a Hobby Lobby store. It't about 45 miles for me to go anywhere like that and with gas being so expensive these days it's not really something I can do.

Donna,

I live in a rural area, too. I'm a bit envious when people talk of grocery delivery and going to the gym. We get to the city often, almost weekly, but it's not quite close enough for the conveniences.

Sorry you aren't feeling your perky self today! :(

We live in sort of a rural area too, but it is also a tourist town, so we have lots of cool little shops. We have the convenience of major grocery stores (no delivery!) and even a small Pennys store, along with our old histoic area that is filled with fun stores, but I have to drive an hour to anything like a mall.

Maybe you can plan a day when you can take a class and do other errands the same day. I shouldn't be encouraging you in to another hobby, but beading is so much fun and you sound like you have a creative streak! I have recently started teaching a few classes and I do jewelry stuff with my girlfriends as a "girls day". Tons of fun.

I do wish we lived close to a 24 hr. Fitness; I go into town at least 4-5 times a month but it's not convenient. I enjoy country life and prefer it to living in the city.

Sounds like a neat town that you live in. I've been to many small tourist towns and envy those that get to live in them. Wouldn't like the larger tourist towns though.

Beading sounds like a lot of fun and I know that I would love it. I have always wanted to make a bracelet that had my childrens names on it. I have to take my granddaughter back home today so I may check out something like that if I am able to make it to Jo-Ann's or Hobby Lobby.
