I've been thinking about what I'm going to do during transition; I know it's a long time before I get there but it has been on my mind lately. How do you know how many extra calories you need to get thru a good workout but not gain weight? I probably need to ask this question on another forum so I will do that too. Looking at catalogs of thin people in beautiful clothes has me wondering about all this. I will reach goal but I believe staying there may be harder than I think.

Had a good day yesterday. I started working on our school's football program for this season and managed to get all the ads in that everyone sent me. Today I'm going to get caught up on the washing and try to decide on a front cover for the football program.

Hi,

I saw that you stopped over :D

Gosh what a fantastic idea to drink water with a straw - I didn't even think of that, but how true it would go down quicker. I will have to add straws to my shopping list though. Having two crafty girls (9 & 6) at home on summer vacation means that all the straws have been used in craft projects!

May I also say how wonderful for you to have 25lbs gone! :bravo:

take care,
sfjoy

Hi Donna!
Thanks for thinking of me and posting in my journal. :D You are so sweet! I'm doing well, staying faithful to my MF program and still losing!

Been busy with busniness, my work at the hospital and staying on top of my Mom's concerns. My daughter and I spent the entire day on Monday looking at nursing facilities with an Alzheimer's unit. The facilites here in Dallas are less costly (and much nicer :D ) than they are in Chicago. I'm still working on getting my brother on the same page as far as Mom's needs go. :| I'm also planning another trip to Chicago real soon. So you can see that I'm staying busy.

Looks like you are doing very well with your weight loss! :woohoo: Maybe one day, when my life settles down, we can get together for a L & G. You could even meet some of my Dallas Medibuds that have started the program! Keep up the good work you are doing. Before long you will be at goal! The time really does go pretty fast.

I try to check in here as I can ... just don't have a lot of time to read everyone's journal or post. Again, thanks for stopping by my journal and saying hello!

Heyyyy Mzz Donna..hi'ya doing this morning?:+) I wanna express my own personal feelings to you on T/M. Even though i feel i got to T/M by default because i got sick, i too HAD given that issue ALOT of thought just like you and others are doing. I think it's great that you are pre-preparing for that time. You said: "I will reach goal but I believe staying there may be harder than I think."
It really isn't as bad as you may think, at least it hasn't been for me yet. You just have to be quite MINDFUL of what you are putting into your mouth...and yes, TREAT yourself from time to time with things you realllly LOVE..for instance, i love Midget Tootsie rolls with a PASSION, so i'll have just two or three maybe once a week and NOT eat the whole bag like i used to..LOL!..and ALL important even moreso i'm finding while in T/M is the issue of WATER intake..sooooooo very IMPORTANT!!

I ran across an article i will place in my journal for anyone who may be interested in reading about the significance of water which you all already know:+) but I refer to it for reinforcement for myself when i get off track with that..LOL!

Ok, sorry i was so long here..but i DO believe you CAN and WILL be successful when you get there girl:+))

Love,
Chynna

Well I'm off to the House of Blues tonight to see Pat Benatar. I believe it's opening night for this place in Dallas (not sure though) and my husband is pretty excited. He/we love the old rock and roll bands and enjoy going to concerts. Wish me luck for the weekend, looks like another tuff one (more company coming). My pants that I have on are just about falling off of me; this is the first time I have worn them so their going with me to the concert. Guess I can exchange them like I did the others. I'll check back tomorrow. Everyone have a good evening.
