Healthy Habits Drawing

Nancy and I want you to choose to be healthy. Poor health affects ALL areas of our lives; from absenteeism from the job (if you are lucky enough to have one at this moment in time), to poor sleeping habits, to living a lethargic life with no energy, to a diminished quality of life. None of these are good. If anyone of us had a choice, we would not choose any of these conditions.

But who knows what to do? Do you know how to achieve optimal health? Like Nancy and I were prior to July, 2002, you are probably quite confused and frustrated with all the misinformation that is prevalent everywhere you turn. Nancy beseeched her doctor for years for the answer to how she could defeat her arch enemy, obesity. We certainly were not nutritionist and at 270 lbs exercise was not high on Nancy’s priority list for how her weight loss was going to be accomplished.

On July 15, 2002, Nancy and I began discovering what eating right and incorporating exercise really meant for a healthy, optimal life. Seven months later she achieved her first goal, reaching her goal weight by shedding one half her body weight. Unbelievable, within seven months I had lost half my wife! But that was just the beginning. If we had stopped there, it would have been just another diet.
